Basti News: On Saturday, the monthly meeting of the Retired Employees and Pensioners Association executive was held in the press club auditorium under the chairmanship of District President Narendra Bahadur Upadhyay. The operation was done by District Minister Uday Pratap Pal.

Addressing the meeting, District President Narendra Bahadur Upadhyay said that on the issue of restoration of old pension and difficulties in cashless medical treatment, a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister was sent through the District Magistrate after a demonstration at the district headquarters on September 20 on the call of the state leadership. will go. Said that due to non-payment of medical reimbursement on time, along with financial crisis, proper treatment is also not available. It was said that a demand was made to the Chief Medical Officer that the system of sending reports after the tests regarding medical reimbursement should be made transparent. For this, it is necessary that the policy of ‘first come, first serve’ should be adopted in the district hospital. This policy has been accepted. This gives more convenience.

District Minister Uday Pratap Pal said that a temporary pensioner room has been made available near the treasury. The association is constantly struggling to solve the problems of the pensioners. He insisted on increasing the membership.
