Poonam Singh, Assistant Professor at SDPG College, also condoled the demise of the professor. He wrote- Just now I came to know from the post of Gurudev Dr. Sharad Chandra Srivastava that educationist, writer and connoisseur of Russian, Bangla language, Gurudev Raghavendra Krishna Pratap ji has passed away. Two-three months ago, Gurudev told that he has come to Noida to be with his daughter Sana. A little unwell. I insisted to meet. You tell me the address. He laughed and said – don’t worry. I am not so sick that you come to see me. I am shocked by the news of his absence and also have a sense of guilt that I could not even inquire about the condition of my head for two months.
Poonam Singh wrote – He was as big a scholar. Such a humble person too. He was the most favorite teacher of all the students of APN College.. Every time he went to the settlement, he used to meet Sir.. Today that rhythm of affection and blessings has been broken, a sensitive link has been broken.. Scenes of so many memories in the eyes Bonds are rising that I feel like crying out. The status of a Guru should be seen in the heart of his students. To be honest, even if these few tears did not reach his feet, they are washing those feet.. We will always remember you as a great teacher. Regards tribute..
